We are delighted to have with Tinpot productions MD, Daryl Moorhouse return to teach our ‘Radio Presentation’ masterclass on Saturday 16th August. This is a wonderful introduction to the craft if you are interested in ‘getting on the radio’. Daryl will return to the school this autumn to anchor a brand new blended format 10 week ‘Radio Presentation’ course with Newstalk presenter, Jonathan Healy and former Today FM & Red FM producer Colm O’Sullivan.
For those of you who are looking on brushing up on your presentation skills in the workplace ‘The Confidence Edge’ with Donal Courtney is taking place on Saturday 16th August. Donal has a wealth of experience in this area, and as an actor & facilitator he is a pro at what he does! He is our ‘Interview of the Month’ for August.
We are also running a one-day Comedy Improv session on Saturday 30th August which will be a nice introduction to the medium of improvisation, especially if you are looking to hone in on your inner funny! Our brand new Autumn/Spring programme, just released, offers you to develop this further with a 10 week course from October in ‘Long Form Improv’ with accomplished comedian, Sharon Mannion.
But it’s not all about the adults this August – We have the young people covered too!
Due to demand we are running a host of extra classes to cater for your budding young Thespians.
On 16th & 17th August we are running a specialised 2-day Young Gaiety Masterclass for 14 years+, perfect if your busy teenager is looking to see would be like as an actor in full-time training!
Our ever popular Make A Movie Camps continue for 14-18 years from 11th – 15th August and 7-10 yrs & 11-13 from 18th -22nd August. There are still a handful of places available so book now!
