This is a week long summer camp for teens to learn all about the film industry. Working with experienced tutors zoomed in from GSA’s studios, students will be given training in directing, acting for camera, screenwriting, casting and more. In this course the student will learn how a film develops – from concept stage to shooting. The course will include a number of practical exercises, with students receiving filmed footage on completion. Due to the collaborative nature of the course, this is also a great opportunity to make new friends.

Developed specifically for the online forum, this course will include the following modules:

  • Introduction to Acting Skills for Camera
  • An introduction to Directing for film and TV
  • Creating powerful content on a low budget
  • Screenwriting tasks
  • Group and solo acting projects

Students can be beginners or have some previous experience, as the tutor will adapt class content to ensure everyone is challenged.

The GSA has been working with their full-time and part-time students in an online forum since March 2020 and has developed proven methods of teaching. This experience, combined with 35 years of actor training, promises you a memorable and valuable learning platform.
