The Grow from Seeds summer course aims to provide high-quality learning opportunities tailored to meet the needs of (second to sixth class) teachers and pupils of primary schools. The Grow from Seeds project intends to provide a programme designed to foster intercultural dialogue in Primary Schools recognising European Parliament priorities to address anti-social behaviour through social cohesion and inclusion, active citizenship and the empowerment and participation of pupils. The programme supports the Guidelines of Intercultural Education in Primary School and the Yellow Flag Programme. The objectives are in line with and complement both the Drama and SPHE curriculum.
To book on to our Grow from Seeds summer course, or for further information, contact our Educate Coordinator, Dr. Anna Kadzik-Bartoszewska, at email@example.com or call 01 – 6799277 Ext: 17.
One Year Part-Time is the most challenging part-time training opportunity at the Gaiety School of Acting. Entry is by audition only and each level takes place from October to June, two evenings a week from 7-9pm. Students are welcome to audition for any level of the course, and can complete one level in isolation, or indeed complete the three years in succession. Applications for October entry are open until September 1st 2019.
Performance Year at the Gaiety School of Acting will give you the opportunity to begin to train seriously as an actor, without the commitment of full-time training. Participants get the chance to explore the process of acting in a supportive and structured environment. Students embark on a personal journey that will challenge their perceptions, develop spontaneity, and foster imaginative development, while learning real acting skills.
The Advanced Performance course is aimed at acting students who are committed to further enhancing their skills as a performer. The course maintains a strong emphasis on performance and the presentation of work while focusing on the individual students’ strengths.
Performance Theatre Company provides a practical educational experience in the production of theatre in an ensemble company format. The Performance Theatre Company is designed to nurture new performers and introduce the experience of producing ensemble theatre. The course educates students in a variety of theatre and performance styles.
