The Chairman, founder, director, board, staff and students of The Gaiety School of Acting send their deepest condolences to the family of our esteemed board member Catherine Donnelly. 

Catherine was a member of the board at The Gaiety School of Acting – The National Theatre School of Ireland for many years and will be sadly missed. 

Catherine will be best remembered for her creativity in advertising and writing. Author of “The State of Grace” and many successful radio campaigns, many still regard her “Train Set” advert for Barrys Tea as part of the Christmas traditions. She was Chairperson of The Rough Magic Theatre Company and served on their advisory council.
