Researchers in Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience are looking for amateur or professional actors/actresses, between the ages of 18 – 40, to take part in a 30 minute voice recording session. During this session participants will be asked to spontaneously say certain sentences or utterances in a particular manner so as to convey particular character intentions. This research will be taking place from Tuesday July 30th and throughout the month of August, on campus in Trinity College Institute of Neuroscience, Lloyd Building. In return for taking part participants will receive a small sum of €5.

This would be an interesting opportunity for anyone with any kind of acting experience to use their acting abilities in order to contribute to scientific research, the aim of which is to examine how visual and auditory information contribute to the perceived appeal and intentions of another person. Please contact Ciara Devine (research assistant) at devineca@tcd.ie if interested in taking part.
