Welcome to the vibrant world of musical theatre with our Year-Long Musical Theatre Course.

Designed for passionate performers of all levels, this intensive program offers comprehensive training across the fundamentals of Musical Theatre, Singing, Dancing, And Acting. Curated and delivered by industry professionals this course will refine your skills, build your confidence, and immerse you into the magical world of Musical Theatre.

Term 1 – Finding Our Strength
Term 1 will explore Golden Age theatre through Singing, Dancing, and Acting. A weekly dance session will build up strength, stamina and style, and focus on the basics of technical jazz dance, and bringing the ensemble to a common level for productions. The Vocal and Acting session will focus on finding and understanding your own unique voice as a performer, with a focus on building correct technique, vocal health, and ensemble work.

Term 2 – Behind The Curtain
Term 2 is the challenge term! This term is designed to stretch students’ abilities and get them out of their normal performance categories. Stylistically we move into Contemporary Musical Theatre with a focus on applying the skills acquired in term 1. Dance Sessions will focus more on intricate choreography, while Vocal and Acting sessions will look at physical theatre with a blend of Stannislky and Anne Bogart techniques, vocal styles, and recording vocal reels.

Term 3 – Showtime
Each Term finishes with a Musical Theatre Showcase, however Term 3’s entire focus is to become show ready. Term 3 is a real life show schedule. Students will become audition ready while also committing to a show specially curated for them. Previous shows include ‘School of Rock’, and an original script ‘Crime Pays’ written to showcase the strengths of each student.
