The ability to stand and deliver your message confidently is essential for success in academia. This Presentation Skills workshop covers practical means for presenting a message effectively, no matter what the size of audience. Be effective and have your audience listening to your every word. An emphasis will be on voice articulation, speech, posture and gesture.

Participants will be able to give a relevant presentation that is evaluated by the other participants. They will learn how to develop the critical performance skills of being spontaneous, creative and authentic. This workshop will give participants practical strategies to enable them to have a strong sense of presence before and during the delivery of an effective speech that will be created and delivered.
