Student Short Film – Casting Call

Hi there!
My name is Salô De Souza, producer of a horror/thriller short film under the
Film & Creative Media program in Dublin Business School. We are in search of
the four main roles for our film “The One Who Sins”.

Informations and descriptions bellow:

THE ONE WHO SINS (10 minute short)

– SYNOPSIS AND CHARACTER BREAKDOWN FOR CASTING
● Thriller following Maria, a heavily repressed religious teen as she deals
with the pressures and expectations of her mother and the church.
When God speaks to her she feels that she knows what she must do to
“help guide” a boy’s soul to heaven.

– CHARACTERS:

● MARIA: Playing mid/late teens; Female; White.
● CATHERINE: Playing Late 30s/early 40s; Female; White.
● FATHER KELLY/VOICE OF GOD: Playing Late 20s/Early 30s, Male.
● ETHAN: Playing Early/mid teens, Male.

As a student led production, our budget is minimal and all details in regards to
compensation will be discussed prior to audition. Food and transport will be
provided on the days of our shooting.

Shooting will take place in Dublin City Center, on the 8th and 9th of march.
Applications needed by February 9th, all details will be emailed prior to
auditions.
