Short Film Casting – Female Early 20s

Logline
A twenty-something girl is about to ruin a dinner with her estranged father by
announcing to him her newfound career as a pornstar.
We’re looking for:

DEL (early 20s):
Del (24), yet another confused twenty-year-old. She is a successful camgirl, but
has not told her family, or what is left of it: her dad. Her struggles to balance work
and her personal life climax at the dinner table, where she is faced with the
fatality of her father finding out about her new career. This might be the
opportunity for them to rekindle their long-lost relationship.
Abrasive, bold, disruptive, anxious: she reminds us of a younger Fleabag (Fleabag,
2016), or a cheekier Frances (Frances Ha, 2012), with hints of Danielle’s
ever-present awkwardness at the Shiva (Shiva Baby, 2020)
Alternative haircuts/piercings/tattoos welcome.
Location: Dublin
Shooting last week of November and will need to be available 24th – 27th
November.
Role is unpaid, but food will be provided and transport covered.
