CASTING CALL –  SHORT FILM (BYOF Dublin)

My name is Dervla McDonnell and I’m part of BYOF (Bring Your
Own Film), a screening event in Dublin. The BYOF team are
working on our own short film that will be showcased at one of
our upcoming events!

Project description:

We are currently casting for 2 actors for a comedy short film
about 3 friends in their mid 20s trying to navigate the absurdity of
modern dating. The piece is character-driven, witty and
grounded in relatable but ridiculous relationship dynamics.
Roles available:
Salvador
Male (in a straight couple)
Mid 20s
Arrogant, performative male with 0 self awareness
Matt
Male (in a queer couple)
Nerdy, rational and grounded
Sometimes passionate but also a bit hard to read at
times

Location: Dublin
Dates: to be confirmed (we will work around actor availability)
Compensation:
Unpaid
Copy & credit provided
Meals provided on shooting days
Opportunity to have your work screened at a BYOF
