Logline: Separated from his brother by sickness, Theo desperately yearns for connection –
and his imagination is the only remedy
Casting breakdown:
Theo (7-10): Curious and kind-hearted, Theo sees the world through imagination and
empathy. He just wants to connect — with his goldfish, his brother, and anyone who’ll
listen.
Mike (16-18): Frustrated and sick, Mike hides his fear behind sarcasm and anger. Deep
down, he misses his brother and the normal life he’s lost.
Mom (30s-40s): Loving but exhausted, Mom juggles care and control. She’s trying to
protect her sons while holding their fragile world together.
