COMPANY OF WOLVES Presents…
Finding the Pulse: Bringing Shakespeare to Life
18-21 JUNE, 2019; GTAC, GLASGOW
Shakespeare’s language lives in the body. The word on the page is only a tiny piece of the puzzle.
This workshop transforms our understanding of Shakespeare’s words by moving them out of our heads and into our breath and bones, allowing us to access the immediacy and power of Shakespeare’s language.
Be prepared for fun, surprises, and sweat. Lots of sweat.
Bone Song: a polyphonic singing workshop
14-16 JUNE, 2019; GTAC, GLASGOW
This workshop explores song in its most primal state: pure emotional need expressed through voice, in its own unique cadence and shape.
Over the three days, we’ll work with vocal anatomy; open and explore places of resonance in the body; and find new pathways between emotion, voice, breath and bone. We’ll sing old songs together, and together, we’ll make new ones.
