GSA Alumni Nominated for Irish Theatre Awards 2017!

Gaiety School of Acting is proud to congratulate four alumni members on their nomination for this year’s ‘Irish Times’ Irish Theatre Awards! The nominations are:

  • Aisling O’Sullivan (Class of 1991) is nominated for Best Actress for her role as Maureen Folan in the Druid production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane, by Martin McDonagh
  • Rory Nolan (Class of 2003) is up for Best Supporting Actor for his role as Pozzo in the Druid production of Waiting for Godot, by Samuel Beckett
  • Kate Gilmore (Class of 2013) is nominated for as Best Supporting Actress for her role as Katarina in the Abbey Theatre production of Town is Dead, by Phillip McMahon
  • Clare Monnelly (Class of 2011) has been nominated for Best Supporting Actress for her role as Mary in the Nomad in association with Livin’ Dred Theatre Company production of Bailegangaire, by Tom Murphy
