Charlene Gleeson graduated from the Gaiety School of Acting’s Full-time course in 2005.  In this year’s Tiger Dublin Fringe, she stars alongside fellow graduate Clare Monnelly in the dark comedic play Harder Faster More.  This show runs from the 9th to 13th September at Smock Alley Theatre.

Can you tell us a little about the play and your role in it?

The Play exposes the lives of many characters living in our modern sexualised world.  We all play a number of roles that bring these stories to life.

What are you most looking forward to about performing in The Fringe?

I feel there is a sense of community when working in the Fringe.  Everybody from crew actors and directors all pulling together to achieve the same goals: entertainment, art and storytelling.

The promo shots for the show say a lot about the dynamic in the cast – are you guys having a lot of fun alongside the hard work?

I’m very lucky to be working with such fine actors who are on top of their game; Clare Monnelly and Aoibheann Mc Cann. I’ve always wanted to work with Tracy Martin so I’m delighted to be apart this journey.

Who do you think Harder Faster More is for?

This play is for everybody that appreciates good writing and a great night’s Entertainment.
