About Brainy Ups

Currently in pre-production, Brainy Ups is a radio series which will be broadcast on RTE Junior in 2023.

This quiz series will take the RTE Junior listener into the classrooms of schools all over Ireland, where they will become part of an anarchic, funny, educational quiz where the kids are the stars. Created in collaboration with clued up teachers, Brainy Ups will feature quirky fun questions which dovetail with the everyday classroom curriculum to create an unique fun interactive show which is equal parts education and entertainment.

In order to produce the quiz we’ll be remote recording with schools between January and March of 2023.

The budget for the presenter is 2000 euro.

Applicants must be over 16 years old.

We are looking for a presenter who :

· Has a charismatic, outgoing, fun loving extrovert character

· Has a spontaneous sense of humour that’s aligned with kids.

· Is quick witted, spontaneous and up for the craic

· Can converse as gaeilge with reasonable confidence
