You may see a lot of talk about the better known graduates of The Gaiety School of Acting’s Full-time course, however more and more recently it’s been alumni of our One Year Part-time courses that have been making a splash in the world of theatre and television!

The One Year Part-time course consists of three separate courses, that can be completed independently or as part of a three year cycle- Performance Year, Advanced Performance Year and Performance Theatre Company.  These courses develop your personal skills as an actor and challenge you to working with an ensemble to present work of a professional standard.

In the last twelve months alone, Adam Fergus, Lynn Rafferty and Leanna Cuttle – all One Year Part-time graduates – have made significant strides in the industry.

Adam FergusHaving built up a significant portfolio of work since leaving The Gaiety School, it was unsurprising to see Adam Fergus, native of Dundalk, starring in RTE drama Clean Break in Autumn 2015.  Penned by playwright Billy Roche, the show centred around a kidnapping that goes drastically wrong, and the resulting impact on the local community.
