Short Film Role – Teenage Actor

Reckless Fascination is looking for a young talented actor for the lead role of our
short film in development. If you are interested in the part, send us a one-minute
monologue, and your headshots and let us know what your experience has been
so far.
Age: 11-15 (young looking 15 year olds only)
Role Gender: Identifying as male
Physical: Bi-racial, preferably with short hair
Brief:
”The Head on Him” is about a bi-racial boy, Jamie, living in ‘90s Tallaght, who cuts
off his Afro to fit in only to find it grows back bigger (much, much bigger) than it
was before, leading to bewildering challenges and a journey to self-acceptance.
Jamie is a sensitive and funny boy who finds his inner confidence in this
coming-of-age film.
