Are you a young performer ready to take your training to the next level?
GSA Audition Day is an opportunity for committed young performers aged 13 to 19 to audition for one of our advanced performance companies. We warmly welcome applicants who may be new to GSA but already have relevant acting, drama or musical theatre experience and are ready for more focused training.
The Musical Theatre Company, for ages 13 to 19, is designed for advanced students who demonstrate strong aptitude and potential. Participants work with a director to develop their performance skills while building towards an end-of-year musical theatre production. The course is particularly suited to young performers interested in developing their talents and potentially pursuing further training or a professional career in musical theatre.
The Youth Theatre Company, for ages 16 to 19, offers young people the opportunity to expand their acting skills and gain first-hand experience of creating and running a theatre company. Members work together to devise original material, produce a full-length production and explore areas including acting, writing, design, publicity, costume and sound. The audition takes place as a group workshop, with nothing to prepare in advance.
