Eva Birthistle win’s Best Actress in a Leading Role Television at the IFTA’S

Congratulations to Eva Birthistle (Class of 1995) on her success at this year’s IFTA’s. Eva graduated from the Full Time Actor Training Course at the Gaiety School of Acting in 1995. On graduating, she got her first TV role as Regina Crosbie in the Irish serial Glenroe. Eva went on to become a renowned television and movie actress best known for The Children (2008), Breakfast on Pluto (2005) and Ae Fond Kiss… (2004), which won her the London Critics Circle Film Award as “British Actress of the Year” in 2005.
Eva recently appeared a Sarah Bailey in the TV series ‘Amber’. It is for this role she has won her IFTA Award.
