Tiglin is based near Ashford, Co. Wicklow. The programme at Tiglin accommodates those who have drug or alcohol problems. Tiglin currently have 24 males in their men’s centre and 12 females in the new women’s centre. There is a waiting list of 28 for Tiglin Rehab Centre and it is a 12-16 month programme. Tiglin’s residents complete practical modules in horticulture, cookery, crafts and money management skills. They also take turns managing different parts of the house.
What’s different about Tiglin?

It’s not just about getting over the addiction, but general wellbeing, getting a balanced diet back on track and taking part in keep fit classes are all part of the programme. Tiglin also help clients with regard to their social welfare and work with their clients on any court cases they’re involved in. It is a faith based Christian programme which helps Tiglin’s clients to deal with anger, rejection etc.
